Meet Microscope: Team Edition - Mike Masse

MICHAEL F. MASSE, OTR/L - Senior Director of Continuing Care

Mike brings over 22 years of clinical and leadership experience in the healthcare field as an Occupational Therapist, Director of Rehabilitation and as a Regional Manager for a therapy and consulting service company.  Most of Mike’s time has been providing these services to continuing care facilities.

SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT MIKE

  • He lives in the Hamilton New York area with his wife Bonnie

  • He has 3 daughters all in college, 3 step children all grown with kids of their own and has a total of 6 grandchildren!

  • He has a newly adopted rescue dog named Beauregard “Beau”

  • He is an avid sports geek especially baseball (Red Sox) and football (Buffalo Bills).

  • His favorite foods are Paella, pizza and street tacos. He also loves an array of music genres from Miles Davis to Sinatra to Classical and all 80’s rock during workouts!

  • During quarantine he has worked on his culinary skills and has perfected Sunday Gravy (otherwise known by some as Sunday pasta sauce). He has also begun learning French and German.

 

As the leader of Microscope’s Continuing Care Services, Mike brings his talent as a clinician and leader to provide honed expertise that helps clients:

• CMI Analysis and Facility Support
• GG Functional Outcomes
• QAPI Support
• Customer Engagement Strategies 

Mike prides himself on his focus for true customer engagement that ensures a genuine partnership for optimal client success.  

Mike is a graduate of SUNY at Buffalo, has served as an adjunct instructor for the OTA program at Bryant and Stratton College and is proud to have served in the United States Army.
